Our team meets tonight (Friday) to finalize packing. At that time, Michelle will get names/emails of people to whom we want to pass along email messages.
Until then, our team is in need of prayer. Here are a few items to pass along to those on the prayer list at Westview:
1. Dr. Tackett is not feeling well. He has a cold and sore throat, and when we talked to him last evening it was getting worse. Please pray for quick and complete healing.
2. ***PRAISE***
We had planned on buying an antimalaria medication when we arrived in Nairobi and Ken was unable to find any and was told that there was none to be had (Coartem was the name of the med). We received an update late this morning that Ken was able to find 5x the anticipated amount of medicine. We will use what we need and donate the remainder to local health facilities.
3. Customs - We arrive in Kenya at 8:30 p.m. Sunday (Kenya time) which will be about second service time at Westview. Please pray that our team will have favor with the customs officials, and that we will be able to enter the country with the medications and construction equipment and have no problems.
4. Travel to Maralal - On Monday, Ken and two team members will drive to Maralal with supplies, and the rest of the team will fly to Maralal. Please pray for safety for all involved while traveling.
Thanks in advance for your faithfulness in prayer!
